Why is engineered hardwood stair nosing so much more expensive than the flooring?

I am looking to put something like Trafficmaster engineered hardwood in my basement and down the steps leading to my basement. The flooring isn't expensive, but to get 10 stair noses (for each of the steps) would be about $250 dollars. I would have to buy ten 4-in-one moldings at $25 dollars each. Is there a cheaper way to do this?
