Each easy-to-install plank has a uniform size. Yes, it is possible. The first step is to wash all the residue from the wood. Secondly, prime the cupboards with a good latex primer. Then paint your woodwork white. I've done this so many times I feel like I can do it in my sleep! I went from oak to white to hunter green and now a terra cotta color with dark green stencil (my counter tops are hunter green) and painted the walls a lighter color of the terra cotta.
Untreated plywood would be the way to go
Put a small screen, like a window screen. to keep them from chewing on the wood down then the bedding on top. I wouldn't use ANY cedar bedding ever! Pine, newspaper ( tho I would worry about the chemicals in the ink), or hay/straw are great for pigs.
No matter what you put they are going to chew and your going to have to replace the wood in short order.. next to a beaver pigs can chew wood with the best of them! Actually I've kept them in cardboard boxes they could easily climb out of only to have them chew a hole and escape.. silly critter rather chew than climb!

Okay, birds first.
You can try hanging aluminum pie tins from the branches. If the tree is very big, you won't be able to get to the top. This may elp deter them, but probably won't stop them completely. You can also try scarecrows, but probably won't work either. The only effective way to keep birds out is a netting over the whole tree.
Now the bugs
You will need to use an insecticide designed for use on crops. Sevin is a good all around choice. Use the liquid so that you can spray it over the whole tree. If you have a hose end sprayer, you can use that and put the sevin in the dispenser. Otherwise, you will mix and put in a pressure sprayer. You don't need a license for sevin if you are in the US. You can try some of the alternatives, but no guarantees. Tobacco tea – boil some tobacco in water to make a strong solution and then dilute with water to spray. Add a couple teaspoons of dish detergent to help it adhere to the plant and break down the bug's protection. Or cayenne pepper spray – water and cayenne pepper mixed and sprayed.

I haven’t seen the commercial so it’s hard for me to judge how they’re pitching it. While I would be pissed if only traditional women’s work was shown, a failing of the 2nd wave women’s movement was to devalue that work. I'd get this question all the time while customers with wood floors were trying to choose cabinets. If you are doing wood floors and wood cabinets, I prefer two different shades of wood to break it up. Perhaps pick up a lighter (or darker) color from grain in the existing cabinets and use that shade for your flooring. If you use all the same color tone it will be monotonous, and it's likely not to match. Also keep in mind that the wood will change color over time, especially cherry which makes matching it all the more impossible. Most woods get darker and/or at least warmer. Have you thought about painting the cabinets? A warm white (even add a brown glaze) would look great with wood floors and white never goes out of style. You may even be able to do it yourself. Be sure to get all the finish off. If your cabinets have a lot of wood grain, they may be oak and the glaze would settle into the graining and look really nice. That's what I would do if they were in great condition. One other thing, if you think you may be replacing your cabinets eventually, then pick the floor you like best rather than only trying to match or coordinate it with your existing cabinets, you'll be living with it a long time and visually it's a big part of your home, you want to love it. Yes it has. Genetic engineering could be anything from choosing the phenotype or genotype of an embryo, changing existing traits of humans, gene therapy, and even creating a perfect genetic match for a sick child for organ donation, or stem cells.
Although playing with phenotypes, genotypes, and finding genetic matches in embryos is not really seen due to ethical issues, or using methods considered unsafe to test on humans, in many cases it is believed or is known to be possible to actually carry out these types of procedure, but again due to ethics it is often left untouched, and considered off-limits.
However gene therapy is not viewed as such a taboo subject. This involves injecting a virus or retrovirus into a host which them replicated its DNA in order to become a part of the host and therefore the genetic make up of a specific gene can be changed. This can be seen in the case of Severe Combined Immunodeficiency patients from the 1990's when the first trial was tested. However many patients developed leukemia because when their DNA was modified it played with another gene, called an oncogene, which turned healthy cells into cancerous cells.
Another potential gene therapy trial that some scientists are considering is for HIV/AIDS virus, some people actually do not possess the docking proteins required to infect a cell, so one theory that some scientists are testing is to find the gene that controls this and then using a retrovirus injection to create a vaccine/gene therapy cure for AIDS/HIV.
I can give some rough numbers for an old style (2 wheel) FAT. First, the arm is divided 1:2, weight end to sling end. The weight end is called the short arm, and the measurement is from the wheel axle to the weight attachment point; there is a bit beyond that for strength.
The tracks are just a tad longer than the short arm. The guide towers should be a bit more than 2.8 times the total arm length. The track height should be about 1.9X the short arm minus the wheel radius.
