Stay AWAY from Ceader! IT's deadly poisonous to animals! The best type of wood for custom-build enclosures is lumber that has not been treated with any form of pesticides or dyes. I've seen many custom built tanks for burms and redtails in my years at the pet shop and most of them have normal lumber exteriors, plexiglass doors, heavy wire mesh vents at the top, and sand polished wood interiors.

This is so freaking great I can’t take it. If you ever looked at the album cover and wished there was a video featuring her in the same outfit… your prayers have been answered!
HOLY ROLLERS is about Hassid Ecstasy smugglers. Do you think they came up with the title first and reverse engineered a plot? I do.
I use all of the above in my cabin fireplace- the best steaks ever. Hickory would be a nice addition, or mesquite, if you can get that. I use a great grill from the sportsmans guide, http://www.sportsmansguide.com, luckily it fits perfectly into my fireplace.
A favorite marinade is to add 1/4 cup southern comfort to 1 bottle BBQ sauce, and 1/2 can coke- sounds odd, but is perfect.
use the bark from the oak put twigs in the bark along with lint from dryer then light it up under the oak and keep it burning.

Genetically engineered foods are foods that have had their DNA altered to change something about the way the plant grows. The most successful engineering feat was done by the Native Americans to produce foods like modern pumpkins and corn. By controlling breeding to only allow the biggest squash and grain plants to reproduce on heir farms, they slowly produced plants that produced food products that were a hundred times the size of their original production. This took over a thousand years to do.
Now Scientists are directly altering the DNA of plants in addition to time honored traditions of long term breeding cross pollination programs. These plants are tested to ensure they do not produce something unwanted long before they ever get distributed to the public. By adding a small code to corn, the leaves of the plant can taste more bitter to pest insects. It's a delicate issue, but it's nothing we haven't been doing for generations.
Clamp a piece of wood or MFD to the side you don't want to splinter. Use a sharp bit, spin it fast and use light pressure.
As a general note, when you drill a pilot hole look at the final bit you are going to use. Now select a pilot drill that is approximately the same diameter as the web in the final drill.
Good luck.
Just finished making a new "old " cabinet & the same question was an issue.
Used poplar which is fairly hard & amber shellac to warm up the color .
if there was a little less detail , would have used an oil finish
The type of wood will depend on what you can afford.
Soft natural finishes can improve w/ age & wear.
For pine or other soft wood would use shellac or varnish which are easy to apply .
These vinishes are soft enough to "give " w/ any dents the wood may take & easily touched up .
Hard finishes like lacquer have less "give".
Hardwoods like oak , walnut, cherry show off grain & color w/ a simple oil finish.
If it gets dinged or scraped to bare wood, lightly rub w/ fine steel or bronze wool then rub in more oil finish.
Finishes that improve w/ age are the most perishable but consider how some antique pieces still look great with simple natural finishes that keep unwanted stains out of the wood .
Whatever "natural" you use would use several well rubbed coats & protect it w/ a hard pastewax.
Best regards

Victoria Wood is one of the best comedians of our time! She’s a good, fairly clean comedian. She doesn’t need to swear to tell her jokes, unlike so many comedians nowadays because she is actually funny!
Write off the phony College loan debts AND the unpayable child support arrears that compounds at 10% interest. These were debts that accumulated when the economy was highly inflated. We’ve got to get this intolerable burden of our citizens.
There are too many interests involved in this issue. The simple idea of eating something that has been modified by man is not exactly attractive to many. It has been determined recently that crops grown from genetically altered seed not only resist pests, but harm other forms of life as well, including birds, gophers, squirrels and the like. I can only imagine what it does to humans, although we might find out in another ten years, when the damage has already been done, just like nutrasweet now, which as it turns out is actually harmfulto humans.
I don't know about canned veggies, but I would be wary of anything purchased in a dollar store.

most new "engineered" flooring products are more durable, last longer, require less maintenance than natural products.

There is not a lot of information out there on GE foods. Some of the testing has been stopped because the results were not what the GE companies wanted. You could start by looking at "Seeds of Deception" by Jeffery M Smith.(copywrite 2003) It does not talk about fruits specifically, but does discuss some potential effects of genetic engineering. There is also an extensive bibliography with some references from 2002.
Since eggplant is a dark color, I would go with a nice lighter stain such as a honey color. Good Luck!!!
