i’m doing my cabinets and the people at home depot keep saying to use water based stain.we aren’t really sure but we’re still sanding at this point.
We will see what we can do as far as a step by step buffer staining video. There are a couple of things that we can not show due to trade secrets and so on, but we may be able to pull something off… Thanks for watching!
i don’t know it looks like he may have sanded a little on the drawer part.
You will need some kind of a solvent to get rid of them, but work your way up gradually; if you don't know what kind of finish is on the floor, you can turn it to tar and you'll have to refinish the floor. Start with something fairly innocuous with an oil in it, maybe Murphy's Oil Soap, Panel-Nu, anything without silicone in it (silicone is what sand is made of and it is highly abrasive and included in most polishes.) If you still haven't found anything, try WD-40. After that you could be heading for some risky applications: paint thinner, kerosene, gasoline. Good luck.
I must be dreaming, you’re not laying over existing parquet, not even buffing off the poly? why not take it up or deck it? stop giving advice on floors and just stick to selling tools! homeowners call a refered professional!
